Hello My Yarn Friends!

If you don’t know me my name is Makenzie, I am the designer behind Hanks And Needles. I have some exciting news to share with you, I am officially  part of The Hook Nook Dream Team! I have been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a line of beginner friendly knitting patterns, perfect for The Hook Nook Yarns. My hope is you find joy in making them; I truly loved designing them for you.

I love all types of knitting from simple stitches to complex advanced stitches; it is my happy place. I created this pattern to bring joy to the maker using a classic stitch, that has a rhythm of knits and purls, while creating a luxurious drape.

The Classic Cowl is the perfect simple knit it works up quickly with bulky weight yarn and large needles. Then seamed together creating a timeless accessory that will work go with everything, you might love it so much you will want to make another.
