Hi there, fellow makers. My name is Anastasia and I the designer behind Journey Chanel Designs. I learned how to crochet when I was 8 years old but only dabbled here and there with it. It wasn't until 5 years ago that I started getting back into crochet and then soon after that I started designing full time. I started designing child patterns but then I realized there wasn't much in the way of size inclusive adult patterns. I then made it my mission to provide easy beginner friendly patterns that are beautiful yet comfortable and size inclusive to make sure every woman feels beautiful in her own skin.
I am so excited to share my newest design with you all. The inspiration for this piece was to provide a beautiful summer cardigan that you could dress up or down and it would work for any occasion. I wanted something new, and chic that has gorgeous lace stitches with a pinch of texture. Oh and did I mention you can even use it as a cover up for those fun days on the beach?! There are so many ways to style this piece and I can't wait to see what you all come up with. Let's get started and don't forget to tag me at @therealjourneychaneldesigns #rosebuddreamercardi #journeychaneldesigns !

Gauge
18 sts × 12 rows = 4"
Please create a 4" × 4" square swatch by following the pattern below under "Bottom Back Panel" section. You will follow the pattern working rows 1- 12. Adjust accordingly to meet gauge.
Sizing
*The sizes listed below are just basic bust sizes, if your bottom half is bigger then I suggest going up a size for a better fit.
*The length measurements are based on 4 repeat sections, however you can add or subtract to the body repeats to create a longer or shorter cardigan.
*The sizes will be shown like this unless broken down individually. S (M, L, Xl, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X)
Pattern Notes
This Cardigan is worked into 1 piece. You create the 3 bottom panels & then connect all 3 Panels together. You will then build the body length & then you split the body into 3 top panels to create the top section & arm holes.
I crochet loosely, if you are a tight crocheter I suggest going up a hook size or 2. Just make sure to check gauge 1st.
Beginning Ch 1 DOES NOT count as 1st stitch.
Beginning Ch 2 DOES count as 1st stitch.
Anything in between ( ) means that entire sequence is in 1 space
Anything in between * * means you repeat that specific sequence until specified
If the number is Before a stitch that means that is how many stitches you make in 1 space.
Example: 2sc – 2 sc sts in the same st
